Another day of White House drama before a Senate panel: Attorney General Jeff Sessions' testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday will be open to the public, reports Politico. Sessions had recused himself from Russian Federation probe matters, after failing to disclose two meetings with Russia's ambassador to the US on his security-clearance paperwork and during Senate Judiciary Committee confirmation hearings.
The hearing in the Hart Senate Office Building is scheduled to start at 2:30 p.m. ET.
Mr. Graham also called for Loretta Lynch, who served as attorney general during the Obama administration, to appear before the committee, citing Mr. Comey's testimony to the Intelligence Committee on Thursday that she had asked him to publicly call the investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server a "matter" rather than an "investigation". On Friday, the panel told the White House it wants to know if there are Trump tapes. President Trump has demonstrated multiple times that his tweets can change the course of this Russian Federation investigation. Trump said in a tweet last month after Comey was sacked.

Paul , Minn., state troopers arrested about a half-dozen people when scuffles broke out at the close of a competing demonstration. Williams also posed for pictures with a militia group and called on attendees to "unite against Shariah law", the SPLC said.
MARTIN: Jeff Sessions was supposed to be testifying this week about the Justice Department budget. Last week Comey, who had taken notes immediately after his conversations with Trump, testified that POTUS's tweeted threat about tapes caused him to give some of his memos to a friend, who leaked the information contained to the New York Times.
Speaking to lawmakers in a closed session later, Comey said he was talking about a story NBC News and other media outlets had already reported, the existence of classified intelligence suggesting an undisclosed meeting between Sessions and the Russian ambassador to the U.S.in April 2016 at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. "You can't run forever", Leahy tweeted.
Comey also said he thinks Trump fired him over the Russian Federation investigation.

Media reports last week said Sessions offered to resign because of tensions with the president over his decision to recuse himself from the FBI's Russian Federation probe. But senators on the committee are expected to question Sessions about his meetings with Russians - a topic that's come under increased scrutiny amid investigations into Russia's interference in the US election. Comey told Congress last week that Trump urged him to drop a probe of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn. Sessions, whose contacts with Russia's ambassador to the US during the presidential campaign has sparked questions, agreed Saturday, June 10, to appear before the Senate intelligence committee as it investigates alleged Russian meddling in the election.
What was your involvement in the decision to fire James Comey?
The president had said Comey's testimony vindicates his assertion that Trump himself was not personally under the investigation.
