Pence Hires Outside Counsel to Handle Russia Probe Questions

Vice President Mike Pence has hired Richmond-based private attorney Richard Cullen to assist with congressional committee inquiries and the special counsel investigation into possible collusion between President Trump's campaign and Russian Federation, the Washington Post reports.

Cullen was also on the staff of former Rep. M Caldwell Butler, R-Virginia, who was a freshman congressman when he voted to impeach then-President Richard Nixon over the Watergate scandal. DeLay was not charged. "Why is that Hillary Clintons family and Dems dealings with Russian Federation are not looked at, but my non-dealings are?" the President tweeted in the afternoon, as he said the Clintons deserved an obstruction of justice probe.

"The Vice President is focused entirely on his duties and promoting the President's agenda and looks forward to a swift conclusion of this matter", Jarrod Agen, the spokesman, said. Trump lashed out at that report at various times on Thursday through his Twitter feed, even recalling language from the campaign to criticize Hillary Clinton as "Crooked H".

Take-Two shuts down popular GTA mod toolkit Open IV
We've contacted Take-Two in an attempt to get more details, and we'll update this post with anything we hear back. With that in mind, OpenIV said it made a decision to comply with the letter and stop distributing the mod tools.

The president denies doing anything wrong and has called the investigations a "witch hunt".

"A flourishing economy gives people a reason, a reason to put down roots in the land of their birth and to grow rather than fleeing to the north", Pence said.

A source close to Pence said he had been interviewing lawyers for weeks to represent him. He also told the Senate Intelligence Committee in his June 8 testimony that he believed Trump had directed him to drop a related agency investigation into the president's former national security adviser, Michael Flynn. He has defended large corporations in Department of Justice investigations, and served as Virginia's attorney general in the late 1990s.

Sources at the network said there had been no official announcement regarding the change. Another executive explained that the tagline was "too closely associated with Roger".

While a sitting president is unlikely to face criminal prosecution, obstruction of justice could form the basis for impeachment.

The new allegations against Trump centre on his own admission that he fired Comey because of the Russian Federation investigation, and suggestions he asked several top intelligence officials for their help altering the direction of the inquiry.
