I think that there is a growing sense that he could face some sort of short suspension here in the coming weeks at some point once the National Football League wraps up it's investigation. Zeke Elliott still has to respond to the NFL's recent findings, the National Football League has given him some report.

Rumors about behavior have chased Elliott since before Dallas made him the fourth-overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Jimmy Carter returns to work site after leaving hospital
Roughly 18 months ago, Carter announced that he was free of cancer, a melanoma that had spread as far as his liver and brain. President Jimmy Carter and Rosalynn Carter returned to the Habitat for Humanity build site in Winnipeg this morning.

"Ezekiel Elliott at this point in time is bracing for a short suspension", Schefter said.

"We'll see how that impacts the season".

Sinkhole Swallows Boat, Parts Of Two Homes
The home was sold in 2015. "But again, Mother Nature is going to take what Mother Nature is going to take", he said. By 9:30 a.m., authorities said, the sinkhole had destroyed the home and had spread to another home next door.

Schefter suggested that Elliott could be looking at a two-game suspension, forcing him out for Week One against the Giants and Week Two against the Broncos. If Dak can prove he can still win games without Elliott in the backfield, it should go a long way to legitimizing his place among the best quarterbacks in the NFL.

Even if the rumors do pan out, the Dallas Cowboys will have a almost impossible time trying to make up for what they lose with Ezekiel Elliott off the field. Sports Illustrated wrote about it in detail past year.

Court overturns Sheldon Silver's corruption conviction
Dean Skelos (who is making an appeal similar to Silver's) and a bid-rigging scandal touching on Cuomo's formerly closest aide. That decision rested on how the judge had defined what is an "official act", when giving instructions to the jury.

A short suspension certainly wouldn't reach as far as Week 9, and even if Schefter is wrong and the investigation turns up hard evidence, it's unlikely that Elliot would have to miss more than a half season. Whatever help the Dallas Cowboys do get would likely not be a major player - McFadden and Morris would likely shoulder the brunt of the carries, so another running back would help give depth or in third-down situations, making up for some of Elliott's prowess in the passing game.
