"I feel a lot of sadness", Bucks County District Attorney Matthew Weintraub said while announcing the charges Friday.
"We have the two men locked up that need to be brought to justice", Weintraub said. Dinardo then took the backhoe and drove it over Meo's body.
That grave was far away from the 12 1/2-foot common grave where investigators found the other three - Dean Finocchiaro, 19, of Middletown Township; Thomas Meo, 21, of Plumstead Township; and Mark Sturgis, 22, of Pennsburg, Montgomery County - on Wednesday evening. After meeting them at the outdoor shopping mall Peddler's Village, Dinardo drove them in his truck back to the farm.
"It was described to us as being up on the top of a mountain and we found him, we found him where we were told we were going to find him and I don't know if we would have ever", Weintraub said. "They have done nothing to deserve this disgusting, unspeakable tragedy that has been beset upon them".
He admitted to being with his cousin when they agreed to rob Finocchiaro and picked him up.
Ezekiel Elliott bracing for a suspension
Zeke Elliott still has to respond to the NFL's recent findings, the National Football League has given him some report . Sports Illustrated wrote about it in detail past year .
Another Bensalem man, Eric Beitz, who was friends with Meo and Sturgis, told The Philadelphia Inquirer that DiNardo had spent considerable time with them recently, and spoke of "weird things like killing people and having people killed".
At this point, court documents say, Meo was screaming in pain and Dinardo climbed into a backhoe and ran over the injured Meo, killing him. The charging documents state that DiNardo told police, "When they turned their backs on me, I shot Tom in the back".
Once their bodies transported on the property of the parents Dinardo, they would have been burnt in a roasting pan for the pigs. Dinardo shot Finocchiaro while he was on the ground, believing him to already be dead, and then disposed of the body in the aforementioned "pig roaster". The remains of Patrick were recovered from a separate location on the farm.
The source said the men were killed after DiNardo felt cheated or threatened during three drug transactions.
"Every death was related to a purported drug transaction, and at the end of each one there's a killing", the person said. DiNardo told Patrick he could sell him a shotgun for another $800.
Police said that two days later, DiNardo agreed to sell Finocchiaro a quarter-pound of marijuana and he picked up Kratz. Dinardo and Kratz returned to the property the next afternoon and used the backhoe to dig a hole and bury Finocchiaro, Meo and Sturgis, the complaint says.
Terror in Egypt as six woman tourists stabbed at a holiday resort
An initial investigation suggests that the man reached the hotel by swimming from a nearby beach and attacked the tourists. The man reached the beach of the resort as he swam through another beach, it said.
Mr. Harran said DiNardo had been sent involuntarily to a mental hospital last summer, at the request of a family member, but said he did not know the details, or how long he was held there. In seeking $5 million bail on a stolen vehicle charge this week, prosecutors said he had been diagnosed with schizophrenia. He also suffered a head injury in an ATV accident a year ago.
"I lost my nephew to a crime that is unspeakable", she wrote in a post. The others went missing on July 7.
DiNardo's lawyer says his client is remorseful.
DiNardo and his parents met with authorities at the county courthouse in Doylestown for several hours Thursday. Kratz was arrested later the same day, authorities said.
The FBI discovered a common grave full of human remains as well as the body of one of the young men, 19-year-old Dean Finocchiaro.
Weintraub said that had the death penalty not been taken off the table to get a confession from DiNardo, they may not have found Patrick's body.
