The last Lego Millennium Falcon, released in 2007, was a little smaller of 5,197 individual pieces, but it also packaged minifigs of Luke, Leia, Obi-Wan, and (of course) Han and Chewie in their looks from 1977's A New Hope.
We've got the very first look at the new Ultimate Collector Series Millennium Falcon (in stores October 1), aka Han Solo's iconic "hunk of junk", that's officially the largest Lego set ever sold with 7,541 pieces. And it's the stuff dreams are made of. If you have a more modest budget (or just prefer adorable droids), there's also a 1,106-piece Lego BB-8 model coming out on September 1st for $99.99.
Akpeyi out, Ezenwa to start in goal for Nigeria vs Cameroon
The development means that Ezenwa will finally get his big break with the Super Eagles as after a long wait for the opportunity. In 19 previous encounters, Nigeria won 11 times, with Cameroun winning four times and four matches drawn.
Along with today's slew of Star Wars: The Last Jedi merchandise revealed in honor of Force Friday II, there was another major announcement when it comes to to collectibles from a galaxy far, far away.
The Falcon isn't the only collector's set Lego announced today, either. This fantastic LEGO interpretation of Han Solo's unforgettable Corellian freighter has all the details that Star Wars fans of any age could wish for, including intricate exterior detailing, upper and lower quad laser cannons, landing legs, lowering boarding ramp and a 4-minifigure cockpit with detachable canopy. It's the sort of thing Lego has become known for on its Ultimate Collector Series sets, which tend to go above and beyond the usual playsets when it comes to accuracy. The cockpit holds four minifigures, there's a living room with posh seating and a Dejarik holographic game, plus a gunner's seat and interchangeable radar dishes (since the Falcon got an updated one for the current trilogy).
PSG midfielder Krychowiak joins West Brom on loan
Grzegorz Krychowiak has left Paris Saint-Germain on a season-long loan to join West Bromwich Albion . But this is a very ambitious club.
LEGO's Ultimate Collector Series Millennium Falcon arrives in stores October 1 with an MSRP of $799.99.
While the new Millennium Falcon set is huge, it's dwarfed by some real life accomplishments.
