Military Options Against North Korea 'Overwhelming'

Ethiopia's U.N. Mission, which holds the council presidency this month, said closed-door consultations will take place Friday afternoon at the request of the United States and Japan. And there's little sign that talks involving the U.S., North Korea and other interested countries can be arranged amid the nearly weekly barrage of weapons tests and threats, let alone stop the North's determined nuclear march.

National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster said of North Korea's most recent test that "we're out of time", and that the USA has to remember that as they do everything short of war, war remains an option.

BENNETT: But unlike past presidents, Trump is promoting his America-first agenda. "This includes the regime of North Korea, which has one again shown its utter contempt for its neighbors, and the entire world community".

McMaster emphasized that it's the responsibility of all nations to enforce U.N. sanctions on North Korea and address the problem.
