Sylvester Stallone has revealed himself to be the director and producer of the Rocky spinoff Creed 2. Stallone, who helped bring the Rocky franchise to life as well as reinvigorate it with his performance in Creed, will direct Creed 2. Coogler then went on to direct the film.
"Creed 2" doesn't have a release date yet. "There's a lot there." . Given that Stallone is essentially taking over the show, the temptation to bolster Rocky's screen time may be overwhelming for a star used to being the headliner.
Stallone, who shot to fame in 1976 as the zero-to-hero boxing champ Rocky Balboa, has directed four previous films in the "Rocky" series, the most recent being 2006's "Rocky Balboa". Another photo on Instagram showed him and Jordan training with the caption, "Getting stronger! 2018" and adding the hashtags #Creed 2 #mgm #fitness #Rocky.
