A look at how Kevin Owens prepared for his Hell in a Cell war with Shane McMahon

SummerSlam was a bit of a letdown and No Mercy was definitely a disappointment but Hell in a Cell was great from start to finish.

With Zayn back on his side and McMahon momentarily out of commission, Owens feels he now controls Smackdown Live.

Tuesday's edition of SmackDown opened with both teams coming out to the ring and having a moment of respect. The Usos said that they felt that no one else could stand toe to toe with them and that they should do it again. The episode also faced the usual strong competition from network television as both NBC and CBS averaged over 11 million viewers directly opposite SmackDown. Daniel Bryan put all four teams into a fatal four-way, which Gable and Benjamin won with their tandem finisher. Hence the Usos' victory at Hell In A Cell.

The Irish "Lass Kicker" locked in the Dis-arm-her, forcing the Princess of Staten Island to tap out. Zayn in classic heel turn style revealed that he did it because he was exhausted of the mediocre rut he was stuck in.

For the sixth week in a row, SmackDown was up year-over-year, though it should be noted that last year's show went up against an Major League Baseball playoff game.

China ready to maintain peace with India along the border
The Defence Minister reiterated the government's resolve to give further impetus to development in the border areas. Meanwhile, Global Times - which has a reputation for criticising India - also carried an editorial.

Shinsuke Nakamura may have failed to grab the gold at Hell In A Cell, but he still had plenty of fight left in him as he teamed with Randy Orton to take down Rusev and Aiden English. The match went about how you would expect it to as the superstar pair dispatched Rusev and English. WWE Champion Jinder Mahal was nowhere to be seen, either - always a positive. But, after two failed chances, where Nakamura goes from here is unclear. Roode was there to challenge Ziggler about the cheap shot he laid on Roode after losing Sunday.

Bobby Roode def. Dolph Ziggler by roll-up with the tights.

Corbin faced AJ Styles in a match for the United States Championship in the main event of Smackdown Live and was able to retain his title. Corbin managed to slam Styles on the floor, then hit End of Days in the ring to retain the United States Championship. Having never been pinned to lose his title at HIAC, the phenomenal one threw out a brutal assault on the lone wolf, but came up short when his shoulder was injured by a counter-attack. Perhaps he and Dillinger renew the budding rivalry that they had going into Hell in a Cell.
