The Switch's New Video Capture Function Isn't Great

Super Mario Odyssey news: Hidden secret discovered in new Nintendo Switch UPDATE

Nintendo Switch update brings video capture support

So, if you lose or damage that're still out of luck.

An update for Nintendo Switch this week adds video capture capabilities and save data transfer, but Nintendo quietly included another feature to the system in version 4.0.0. With the latter, however, there's a big asterisk attached. Once the transfer profile is completed, all the data associated with the user account you just transferred to the new machine won't be available on the original model. This means that if you managed to do something unbelievably cool, you can quickly pop into your Album and ensure that you've got the video evidence to prove it.

And finally, there are now new profile icons to choose from based on characters from Super Mario Odyssey and Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Multiple injuries reported in shooting at Maryland business park
As part of the on going search Delaware State Police have placed several New Castle County schools and offices on lock down. A witness to the shooting reportedly told WJLA that Prince gathered his coworkers for a meeting then opened fire.

The Switch looks set to continue shifting hardware and software at this rate too, with a line-up featuring Fire Emblem Warriors, Super Mario Odyssey, DOOM, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 arriving between now and the end of November.

Switch update 4.0 now allows video capture, so clips of games can be shared from the system.

We can only hope this feature rollout is a hint of more functionality in the future. There is also now a pre-purchase option available for certain games on Nintendo's eShop for the Switch.

Once an updated has been downloaded, you'll be asked if you want to install it via a notification.

Until now, once a user launched a game on a system he or she had to stuck with it. This is also where you can do a manual update. That should make the update process easier for people with limited internet connections, for example, and guarantee people can play games with friends.
