Former interim DNC chair Donna Brazile's op-ed in Politico is excerpted from her forthcoming book. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), was asked point blank if she believed that Brazile's charge was true - that the nomination process was rigged during the 2016 Democratic primary.
"I was in agony as I dialed him", Brazile wrote of the September 7 phone call.
Brazile uncovered a joint-fundraising agreement between the party and the campaign funds, which stipulated that Hillary would control the "party's finances, strategy, and all the money raised" in exchange for raising money and investing in the DNC.
Sony brings Aibo back from the dead
Sony has brought back its Aibo robot dog with a mechanical canine that's been stuffed with smart capabilities . Aibo can show its love through "lifelike" eye, ear, and tail movements and a variety of sounds, Sony said.
Brazile had taken over from Wasserman-Schultz as head of the party after the scandal that ensued after leaked DNC e-mails proved what the Bernie Sanders campaign had alleged - that the party was working for Hillary Clinton all along, while publicly pledging to remain neutral in the Democratic primary.
"The campaign had the DNC on life support, giving it money every month to meet its basic expenses, while the campaign was using the party as a fund-raising clearing house".
"The funding arrangement with HFA [Hillary for America presidential campaign committee] and the victory fund agreement was not illegal, but it sure looked unethical", Brazile writes in an excerpt of the book published by Politico. "If the fight had been fair, one campaign wouldn't have control of the party before the voters had decided which one they wanted to lead".
Roger Stone Banned From Twitter After Threatening CNN Anchors
And since the election, Stone has been a stalwart ally of Trump, attacking the president's critics on Twitter and elsewhere. Stone has access to at least two other Twitter accounts through which he has continued to press his case.
"Wait", I said. "That victory fund was supposed to be for whoever was the nominee, and the state party races". Debbie Wasserman Schultz was forced out over leaked emails, which indicated the party organization unfairly favored Clinton over Sanders during the primary.
"When I hung up the call to Bernie, I started to cry, not out of guilt, but out of anger", Brazile wrote.
Brazile, when she took over the DNC, found out that the Democratic Party was on the verge of financial collapse. "Trump won't set ObamaCare sign-up goal Frustrated with Trump, Dems introduce drug pricing bill MORE and Bernie Sanders" representatives into this process and they're going to say "it's fair, it works, we all believe it, ' or he's going to fail". "We sent the party almost $20 million from September until the convention, and more to prepare for the election". Many of those emails described above came after it was abundantly clear that Clinton would be the nominee, barring a massive and nearly impossible shift in primary votes.
Tesla posts a huge loss, as Model 3 output lags

Hot Air suggests that Brazile is being a little coy about her depiction of herself as uncovering this corruption only when she took over the DNC. She promised the senator she'd get to the bottom of whether Clinton and her team rigged the nomination in her favor. "What are we going to do going forward, and are we going to build a Democratic Party that really is there for all of us?"
